The CHI Brass Sergio Carolino Signature F1 Mediumweight brings additional responsiveness and flexibility to Sergio Carolino's F1 design while maintaining the tonal core and stability required for professional performance.
Developed in collaboration with internationally renowned tubist Sergio Carolino, the F1 combines the CHI Brass Floyd Cooley-style rim with a cup inspired by the classic Roger Bobo Solo design. The result is a highly efficient F tuba mouthpiece with outstanding clarity, response, tonal color, and projection.
The Mediumweight shell allows greater resonance and immediacy than the Heavyweight version while retaining enough mass to provide excellent stability and focus. It is an exceptionally versatile balance for players who move between solo, chamber, and ensemble playing.
Like all CHI Brass Signature mouthpieces, the F1 Mediumweight receives our special resonance-enhancing treatment to increase tonal color, resonance, and responsiveness.
